The Ikorodu Ambassadors Group again were remarkably recognized by the Ayangbure of Ikorodu, His Royal Majesty, Oba Kabir Adewale Shotobi, Adegorushen V during the group courtesy visit to the ancient Ikorodu Ipebi.
According to him “I have heard many stories about the IKORODU AMBASSADORS GROUP (Good and Ugly Ones) but the good ones supercedes the ugly ones, I have met with the group twice now (When i was the Odofin and now that I am the King), I have assessed them, and so therefore, I am endorsing them. I have made it clear to them that they should be Good Ambassadors of Ikorodu, and whenever there is a difficulty, I shall stand by them. They should move on, that the Deities are behind them”.
He further explained that the Ipebi in Ikorodu is the most astonishing in the whole of Lagos State, that he is using the opportunity to pray for the group, that they shall excel”.
He further enjoined the Ambassadors to be his guest at his palace during coronation or after coronation.
