Atletico Madrid yesterday confirmed the 18 month loan signing for former Chelsea and Liverpool striker Fernando Torres.
AC Milan had signed him permanently from Chelsea just days before in order to farm him out to his boyhood club.
The £50m Chelsea flop arrived in Madrid early on Tuesday afternoon and received a spectacular welcome from fans and the media.
Fernando Torres is expected to make his debut in the Copa del Rey clash against rivals Real Madrid on the 7th January.
He was welcomed home like a superstar. The excitement will probably subside when everyone realises he’s not very good.
